November 2025

November it’s running fast to the end: my Bookbuddy app moves slowly, something nice with Arduino and makers stuff.

Something funny to make with Arduino and infrared sensors.

A very nice kit to build two communicators called Chatter, it’s a pair of chatting devices that is totally off the big networks and totally encrypted: they let you send text messages without Wi-Fi or cellular networks using LoRa technology.

I’m going a little more deeper on React, I’ve found this tool called React Scan to detect performance issues.

I’ve seen a video about this graphic tool called MotionStream which allows you to create real-time videos generated with AI, with motion control! You can click on a part of the video, move it and it renders the new video as if you are interacting with the subject on the scene. “Wow effect” guaranteed.

As written in September Memo post I’m working (…yes, very rarely) on a project started with AI Replit to build an app to help people with many books to keep track of the position of their books in the library. Just by taking pictures of the books in the library without moving books. For now I’ve used javascript Tesseract library but I think performances are too bad to make it a product. I should try to move it on server side with Tesseract and PHP and also try some variants, like this fast implementation on Github and also make some image manipulation to improve characters visibility in the photos before OCR. This is the point in a project when I start thinking it’s too complex to make a product. If you want to try my Bookbuddy app, beta version, follow this link.

In May Memo post I’ve registered a few lines about detecting human presence analyzing WiFi signals distortions, I’ve just found another similar project from Francesco Pace using an ESP device, nice!

Suren Enfiajyan in his blog discusses about jQuery, online there is still a lot of code with jQuery, and I still love it.

Yuri Mariotti in this linkedin post explains how to use ChatGPT in a consistent way to reuse knowledge discover with the LLM.

Found a nice tool to make and share maps, it’s called Pampam!
