Rockit.it

Rockit is a web platform dedicated to Italian independent music that I co-founded in 1997, it has grown into one of the most recognized online communities for independent artists in Italy, featuring artist profiles, reviews, streaming, events and editorial content.

The platform was built from scratch using PHP and MySQL and has been continuously developed and maintained across multiple generations of web technologies.

Working on Rockit for many years required addressing a wide range of typical challenges of large web platforms, including:
